This page explains what happens to the details you leave on this site.

Who is responsible

Nikolay Radchenko decides what happens to the details described here.

Questions about your data, and requests to see, correct or delete it, go to hi@wth.solutions — that address reaches the person who decides, and we answer within a month.

What we collect

There is one place on this site where you give us anything — the project enquiry form. It asks for four things.

  • a name — whatever you want to be called;
  • a contact — an email address or a Telegram handle;
  • a budget range — one of four options, no exact figure;
  • a short description of your project, in your own words.

Whatever else you choose to write in that description reaches us too, so please do not put anything there you would not put in an ordinary email.

Separately, our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs of requests to the site: IP address, browser, the page requested and the time. Those exist to keep the site up and to spot abuse, and we do not use them to build a profile of anyone.

What we do with it

One thing: reply to your enquiry and discuss the project with you.

We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell or rent contact details, we do not pass them to anyone for their own purposes, and we do not use them to train anything.

Where your enquiry is aimed at working together, the law lets us process it as a step taken at your request before entering into a contract — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where it is not, we rely on the consent you give with the checkbox in the form, Article 6(1)(a). The server logs rest on our own interest in keeping the site up and secure, Article 6(1)(f).

If you leave a Telegram handle

Then our reply goes to you through Telegram, on servers we do not control and under their terms rather than ours. We cannot promise anything about how Telegram stores that conversation. Leave an email address instead if you would rather keep it tighter.

Cookies and analytics

None. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or tracking pixels. Nothing is stored in your browser and no third party is told that you visited. That is why there is no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.

The hearts on our cards

The two cards in “Who we are” have a heart and a paper plane you can tap. All that is kept is a running total: how many taps there have been altogether, never who made them. Nothing is written to your browser either, so we cannot tell one visitor from the next — and you are welcome to tap as many times as you like.

Those totals sit in a small database run by Upstash, our processor for this and nothing else. It stands in Frankfurt, so nothing here leaves the European Economic Area and no extra safeguard is needed for it. To keep one person from holding the button down, the same database briefly holds a scrambled form of your IP address, which it forgets after a minute. The address itself is never written down.

Who else can see it

Two companies handle your enquiry on the way to us, and neither does anything with it of their own.

  • Vercel Inc. hosts this site and runs the small piece of code that receives the form. It does not store enquiries — it passes them straight on and forgets them.
  • Migadu, a mail provider in Switzerland, holds the mailbox the enquiry lands in.

Switzerland is recognised by the European Commission as offering an adequate level of data protection, so nothing special is needed for mail to be handled there.

Beyond those two, your enquiry reaches only the studio. It is not shared with clients, contractors or platforms. If that ever changes, this section is updated before the change is made.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as the conversation could realistically start again. Project work has a long memory: people come back a year or two after the first message, and a thread we deleted is a conversation we would have to begin from nothing. When it is clear a conversation will not resume, the correspondence goes.

You do not have to wait for that. Ask us to delete what we hold and we will, whenever you like — that is the part worth relying on, more than any date we could put here.

If a conversation turns into a project, the contract we sign governs what happens next.

Your choices

Write to hi@wth.solutions and we will do any of the following within a month.

  • tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy — Articles 15 and 20;
  • correct anything that is wrong — Article 16;
  • delete what we hold — Article 17;
  • restrict what we do with it, without deleting it — Article 18;
  • stop processing that rests on our own interest, if you object — Article 21;
  • withdraw the consent you gave, at any time — Article 7(3).

Withdrawing consent does not undo what happened before it, but from that point we delete the correspondence rather than keep it.

Giving us these details is voluntary. Without them we simply cannot answer, and nothing else follows from withholding them.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to a data protection supervisory authority — the one where you live, where you work, or where the problem happened. We would rather you wrote to us first.

Automated decisions

There are none. Nothing here is decided by a machine, profiled or scored — a person reads every enquiry and answers it. We have not appointed a data protection officer either: at this size the law does not require one, and the address above reaches the person who decides.

Changes

When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. The current version is always the one on this page.
